Market Consultation on the Solactive Country Classification

Frankfurt, 18 October 2022 – Solactive has decided to conduct a Market Consultation with regard to the annual review of the Solactive Country Classification.

• After conducting the annual review of the Solactive Country Classification, Peru no longer fulfills the minimum liquidity requirement. However, as Solactive does not see any additional deteriorations, Solactive suggests keeping Peru in the list of Emerging Markets for now. Solactive continues to observe the development of Peru. In case of further deteriorations an intra-annual review of the country will be conducted.
• As part of the annual review of the Solactive Country Classification, Solactive noticed a significant drop in the liquidity of the Pakistani market. However, as Pakistan continues to fulfill the minimum threshold, Solactive suggests keeping Pakistan in the list of Emerging Markets. Solactive continues to observe the development of Pakistan. In case of further deteriorations an intra-annual review of the country will be conducted.

After reviewing the results of the Market Consultation, the final lists of Developed and Emerging Countries will be published. These new lists will become effective as of Selection Days in April 2023.
