Unplanned Market Closure | Effect on Indices in Rebalances | 13 October 2020

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEX) announced on 13 October 2020 that the trading sessions in the securities and derivatives markets on that day, including After-Hours Futures Trading, have been cancelled due to the issuance of Typhoon Signal No. 8. Solactive AG determines this event as an unplanned Market Closure in accordance with the Solactive Disruption Policy (https://www.solactive.com/documents/disruption-policy/ ).

The following indices (the “Affected Indices”) are currently in the process of rebalance over multiple Trading Days and therefore affected by the unplanned Market Closure:

In accordance with Section 4.6 of the Solactive Disruption Policy, Solactive AG has decided to continue with the rebalance process and apply the latest available Closing Price for the securities affected by the unplanned Market Closure. For clarification, securities reflected or to be included in the Affected Indices but not traded on HKEX will be considered with their Closing Price as of today. The Rebalance Period will not be extended.
