Announced in 2024, SHANKARA BUILDING PRODUCTS LTD announced the demerger of their building materials marketplace business as a new company, SHANKARA BUILDPRO. SHANKARA BUILDPRO is expected to be listed on the NSE. Shareholders of SHANKARA BUILDING PRODUCTS LTD will receive 1 share of SHANKARA BUILDPRO for every share held. The effective date of the demerger has been set as 24 September 2025.
