Rationale for Methodology Change
|
The starting universe of the “DX Software Growth Index” and “Medical Care Growth Index” is based on the >Solactive GBS States All Cap Index. To avoid the inclusion of Stocks not listed in the US an additional exchange filter will be applied within the selection procedure. |
Changes to the Index Guideline
The following Methodology changes will be implemented in the following points of the Index Guideline (ordered in accordance with the numbering of the affected sections):

2.1. Index Universe Requirements
The Index Universe is comprised of all financial instruments which fulfill the below requirements
(the “Index Universe Requirements“):
- Part/ Component of the Gbs Index Universe of the Solactive GBS United States All Cap Index PR (ISIN: DE000SLA4YV1), on a Selection Day
- Country of risk is United States
- Is classified as Technology Services as defined by the second level of the FactSet Industries and Economic Sectors Classification
The determination of the Index Universe is fully rule-based and the Index Administrator cannot make any discretionary decisions.

The Index Universe is comprised of all financial instruments which fulfill the below requirements
(the “Index Universe Requirements“):
- Part/ Component of the Gbs Index Universe of the Solactive GBS United States All Cap Index PR (ISIN: DE000SLA4YV1), on a Selection Day
- Country of risk is United States
- Must be listed on an US Stock Exchange
- Is classified as Technology Services as defined by the second level of the FactSet Industries and Economic Sectors Classification
The determination of the Index Universe is fully rule-based and the Index Administrator cannot make any discretionary decisions.
Defined terms used in this announcement, but not defined herein, have the meaning assigned to them in the respective index guideline of the Affected Indices. The amended version of the index guideline will be available on the effective date.
