Methodology Change | Solactive Emerging Markets Consumer Technology Index | Effective Date 01/12/2023

Today, on the 24/11/2023, Solactive announces the following changes to the methodology of the following indices (the ‘Affected Indices):

Rationale for Methodology Change

Solactive has determined that the proposed changes to the Affected Indices will vastly improve the thematic scope of the index by providing a comprehensive initial universe for the index. The addition of a Headquarter Country screen to complement the Country of Top Geographic Revenue screen will provide a larger, more relevant starting universe. The addition of the industries/subindustries below will also provide the index with exposure to the growing Semiconductor Market. With the consistent change that takes place with emerging markets consumer technology companies, it is imperative that we review the initial index universe on a regular basis to ensure that new entrants that emerge within the thematic landscape are captured within the initial universe screening.

Changes to the Index Guideline

The following Methodology changes will be implemented in the following points of the Index Guideline (ordered in accordance with the numbering of the affected sections):
