Today, on the 01/09/2023, Solactive announces the following changes to the methodology of the following indices (the ‘Affected Indices’):

Rationale for Methodology Change

Solactive has determined that an adjustment of the withholding tax rates of US-incorporated companies from 30% to 0% for V1 indices and 15% for V2 indices in above table mitigates systematic sources of tracking error.

Changes to the Index Guideline

The following Methodology changes will be implemented in the following points of the Index Guideline (ordered in accordance with the numbering of the affected sections):

For the v1 indices defined in the above overview we are adding the below sentence right below the index overview table in the section 1.2. IDENTIFIERS AND PUBLICATION in the respective guideline of each index:

*For NTR INDICES withholding tax rates applied for US-incorporated companies will be reduced from Solactive Standard rate (listed on the SOLACTIVE website https://www.solactive.com ) to 0%.

For the v2 indices defined in the above overview we are adding the below sentence right below the index overview table in the section 1.2. IDENTIFIERS AND PUBLICATION in the respective guideline of each index:

*For NTR INDICES withholding tax rates applied for US Incorporated companies will be reduced from Solactive Standard rate (listed on the SOLACTIVE website https://www.solactive.com ) to 15%.

Defined terms used in this announcement, but not defined herein, have the meaning assigned to them in the respective index guideline of the Affected Indices. The amended version of the index guideline will be available on the effective date.
