Initially announced on June 9, 2025 BLACKROCK MUNIHOLDINGS FUND made a stock offer for BLACKROCK MUNICIPAL INCOME TRU of 0.84835577 shares per BLACKROCK MUNICIPAL INCOME TRU share held. BLACKROCK MUNICIPAL INCOME TRU shareholders approved the Merger on October 15, 2025. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Merger is expected to be completed on February 9, 2026. Trading in shares of BLACKROCK MUNICIPAL INCOME TRU is expected to be halted effective February 9, 2026. In the absence of an active market, the last close price will reflect the Deal Terms of the transaction.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• BLACKROCK MUNICIPAL INCOME TRU will be removed from the Index.
• The shares of BLACKROCK MUNIHOLDINGS FUND (MHD.N) will be increased according to the stock terms of the transaction.
• Effective Date (open): 12/02/2026
