Merger | BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND & BLACKROCK INCOME TRUST | 27th March 2025

Initially announced on February 12, 2025 BLACKROCK INCOME TRUST made a stock offer for BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND. BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND shareholders approved the Merger on March 18, 2025. On March 24, 2025 BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND announced that has completed its reorganization with and into BLACKROCK INCOME TRUST at an exchange ratio of 0.84020511 shares per BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND share held. Trading in shares of BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND is expected to be halted effective March 24, 2025. In the absence of an active market, the last close price will reflect the Deal Terms of the transaction.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• BLACKROCK ENHANCED GOVT FUND will be removed from the Index.
• The shares of BLACKROCK INCOME TRUST (BKT.N) will be increased according to the stock terms of the transaction.
• Effective Date (open): 27/03/2025
