Job Overview
Your Tasks
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of ESG and sustainability-focused indices with varying levels of complexity
- Leverage a deep understanding of quantitative models for ESG scoring, weighting, and portfolio construction, applying advanced optimization techniques.
- Execute systematic, rules-based selection and rebalancing of both Solactive and client indices
- Act as a key contact for an international client base, including leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading desks – translating complex quantitative and ESG concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain index algorithms within the company’s framework
- Optimize and improve various internal processes and workflows for greater efficiency
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts and developers throughout the software development lifecycle
Your Profile
- Academic degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in quantitative investment strategies, portfolio optimization or a related field.
- Familiarity with ESG investing concepts or sustainability data frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to clearly explain quantitative and ESG concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Innovative, analytical thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and intercultural competence.
- Proficiency in programming languages preferably in Python, though experience in VBA, MATLAB, or SQL is also valued.
