Informative Notice | Change in Withholding Tax Rate Brazil

Solactive wishes to inform clients of the enactment of Law No. 15,270/2025 in Brazil, which reintroduces a 10% Withholding Tax on dividends for non-residents, replacing the current 0% exemption.

While the statutory effective date is January 1, 2026, a transitional provision exempts dividends declared and approved by December 31, 2025, even if paid later.

Given the potential for a high volume of dividend declarations before year-end, Solactive is currently monitoring market data to assess the operational impact on index calculations.

Depending on the clarity of data, Solactive may choose to postpone the effective date of the WHT change beyond January 1, 2026.

We will continue to track all announcements closely and will issue a follow-up notice confirming the final effective date and methodology in due course.
