Extraordinary Event Treatment for Russian Equity | Solactive Global SuperDividend Indices | Effective Date 07/03/2022

Today, on the 03/03/2022, Solactive announces the following treatment for Russian equity in the following Indices (the ‘Affected Indices’):

Solactive has observed an extraordinary event with respect to Russian equity and note a significantly reduced access to the Russian market, limitations on market size and liquidity and highly restricted accessibility to investors. Due to this material deterioration, transactions in Russian Equity cannot be carried out effectively.

Accordingly, and in view of the forthcoming rebalancing of the Affected Indices, the Oversight Committee of Solactive has decided to implement the following changes as part of the ordinary rebalancing to be implemented in March:

• Equity securities listed and/or incorporated in Russia (including relevant GDR/ADRs) will be removed from the Affected Indices at a price of zero prior to the Rebalance Period on the Effective Date of 07/03/22
• No equity securities listed and/or incorporated in Russia (including relevant GDR/ADRs) will be added to the Affected Indices, even where such securities are otherwise eligible
• No successor will be determined for the removed stocks for the upcoming Rebalance Period. The weight of the removed stocks will be distributed equally to the remaining new index member (Please note: ZENITH BANK PLC will not benefit from the redistribution, as this company will be removed over the next three rebalance periods)

Solactive would like to point out that the implemented measures are extraordinary measures to react to the current unexpected and extreme market situation. No precautionary effect for measures to be taken in future comparable situations can be derived from this.
