Correction of Index Guideline | HSBC Vantage Plus Index | Effective Date 15th August 2019
Today, on 15th of August 2019, Solactive announces a correction to the index guideline of the following index:
HSBC Vantage Plus Index (ISIN: DE000SLA7P58)
Due to a change in the policy structure of Solactive, the reference in section 5.1 (Discretion) is no longer valid. Therefore, this section will be replaced with the following:
“5.1 Discretion
Any discretion which may need to be exercised in relation to the determination of the Index (for example the determination of the Index Universe (if applicable), the selection of the Index Components (if applicable) or any other relevant decisions in relation to the Index) shall be made in accordance with strict rules regarding the exercise of discretion or expert judgement.”
As the invalid reference has no effect on index levels, no adjustment of historical published level is required. The index methodology is available on Solactive website.
