Contango & Backwardation Check | Vontobel Oil-Strategy Index | January 2024

Based on the close of the Oil Futures on January 17, 2023 we are in a Backwardation situation – therefore, the Vontobel Oil-Strategy Index will be calculated as a Future investment during the next month.

The following changes will be implemented:

WTI FUTURE May 24

will be added to the the index composition.

CONOCOPHILLIPS

EOG RESOURCES INC

CANADIAN NATURAL RESOURCES

PHILLIPS 66

MARATHON PETROLEUM CORP

PIONEER NATURAL RESOURCES CO

OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM CORP

VALERO ENERGY

will be removed from the index composition.
