Clarification | several Solactive Indices | Effective Date 18/06/2020

Today, on the 4th June 2020, Solactive announces the following clarification to the following indices (the ‘Affected Indices’):

Rationale for clarification:

 In order to ensure that the affected indices are rebalancing close to the scheduled Adjustment Day which increases the accuracy and representation of the indices, a clarification will be added to the definitions of Adjustment Day and Selection Day in the Index Guideline.

Changes to the Index Guideline:

 – Adjustment Day

 Old wording:

“Adjustment Day” is a Business Day that falls on the last trading day of January, April, July and October. On the Adjustment Days in January and July the index will be reconstituted while the index will be reweighted on the Adjustment Days in April and October only.

New wording:

“Adjustment Day” is the last weekday (Mo-Fr) of January, April, July and October. If this happens to be no Business Day, the Adjustment Day is on the following Business Day. On the Adjustment Days in January and July the index will be reconstituted while the index will be reweighted on the Adjustment Days in April and October only.

– Selection Day

 Old wording:

“Selection Day” is the Business Day 10 Business Days before to the Adjustment Day.

New wording:

“Selection Day” is the Business Day 10 Business Days before to the scheduled Adjustment Day and scheduled the Reconstitution-Review Day.

Defined terms used in this announcement, but not defined herein, have the meaning assigned to them in the respective index guideline of the Affected Indices. The amended version of the index guideline will be available on the effective date.
