Acquisition | VOLUE ASA | 17th October 2024
On August 19, 2024 Edison Bidco AS launched a tender offer to acquire entire share capital of VOLUE ASA. Each shareholder of VOLUE ASA will receive NOK 42 in cash for every share held. The offer expired on October 11, 2024. Based on the announcement published on October 14, 2024 the offeror Edison Bidco AS has secured 88.7 percent of share capital of VOLUE ASA. Since the free float of VOLUE ASA has dropped below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove VOLUE ASA giving 2 business days notice.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- VOLUE ASA will be removed from the Index.
- The weight of VOLUE ASA (VOLUE.OL) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
- Effective Date (open): 17/10/2024
