Acquisition | UNITED MALT GROUP LTD | 18th October 2023

On 28 March 2023, UNITED MALT GROUP LTD announced that it had received a conditional proposal from MALTERIES SOUFFLET SAS, to acquire all of the UNITED MALT GROUP LTD shares. On 3 July 2023, following the completion of due diligence by MALTERIES SOUFFLET SAS, UNITED MALT GROUP LTD announced they had entered into the Scheme Implementation Deed in which MALTERIES SOUFFLET SAS will pay AUD 5.00 for each UNITED MALT share. On 12 October the shareholders of UNITED MALT approved the scheme. The second court hearing is scheduled for the 16 October 2023, if approved the scheme will be effective on 18 October 2023.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• UNITED MALT GROUP LTD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of UNITED MALT GROUP LTD (UMG.AX) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 18/10/2023
