Acquisition | SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD | 17th July 2025

On May 29, 2025, NTT DOCOMO INC announced to acquire shares of SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD through a tender offer. SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD shareholders would receive JPY 4900 in cash for every share held. On Jul 11, 2025, the tender offer result was announced with NTT DOCOMO INC controlling 93.1% of the share capital of SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD. As it breached 90% squeeze out threshold, Solactive will remove SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD from the index effective on Jul 17, 2025.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of SBI SUMISHIN NET BANK LTD (7163.T) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
