On May 14, 2025 SHIMIZU CORP ORD launched a tender offer to acquire entire share capital of NIPPON ROAD CO. LTD.. Each shareholder of NIPPON ROAD CO. LTD. will receive JPY 2520 in cash for every share held. Based on the tender offer results announced on June 26, 2025 the acquiror holds 88.33 percent of share capital of NIPPON ROAD CO. LTD. Since the free float has dropped below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove NIPPON ROAD CO. LTD. giving 2 business days notice.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• NIPPON ROAD CO. LTD. will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of NIPPON ROAD CO. LTD. (1884.T) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
