In 2024, PARADEEP PHOSPHATES LTD announced a scheme of arrangement to purchase all common shares of MANGALORE CHEMICALS & FERT. As per the terms of arrangement shareholders of MANGALORE CHEMICALS & FERT would receive 1.87 shares of PARADEEP PHOSPHATES LTD per every share held. On 16 October 2025, the BSE announced the record date for the scheme of arrangement would be effective on 31 October 2025.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- MANGALORE CHEMICALS & FERT will be removed from the Index.
- The shares of PARADEEP PHOSPHATES LTD (PRAO.NS) will be increased according to the stock terms of the transaction.
