Acquisition | LOOKERS PLC | 6th October 2023

On 27 July 2023 GLOBAL AUTO HOLDINGS LIMITED announced that it will acquire entire share capital of LOOKERS PLC by way of a Court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement. Each shareholder of LOOKERS PLC will receive 1.3 GBP in cash for every share held. The Court hearing to sanction the scheme is expected to take place on October 4, 2023. The last trading date for dealing in shares of LOOKERS PLC is October 5, 2023.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

  • LOOKERS PLC will be removed from the Index.
  • The weight of LOOKERS PLC (LOOK.L) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
  • Effective Date (open): 06/10/2023
