Acquisition | LAKELAND BANCORP INC | 17th May 2024

On September 27, 2022, PROVIDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES INC and LAKELAND BANCORP INC announced they would combine in an all stock merger. Under the merger agreement, LAKELAND BANCORP INC shareholders will receive 0.8319 shares of PROVIDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES INC per each share held. LAKELAND BANCORP INC shareholders approved the Acquisition on February 1, 2023. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on May 15, 2024. Trading in shares of LAKELAND BANCORP INC is expected to be halted effective May 16, 2024.

• LAKELAND BANCORP INC will be removed from the Index.
• The shares of PROVIDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES INC (PFS.N) will be increased according to the stock terms of the transaction.
• Effective Date (open): 17/05/2024
