Initially announced on July 28, 2025 REGAL BIDCO made a cash offer for FIRST NATIONAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION of CAD 48 per FIRST NATIONAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION share held. FIRST NATIONAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION shareholders approved the Acquisition on September 30, 2025. Court approval was received on October 3, 2025. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on October 24, 2025. Trading in shares of FIRST NATIONAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION is expected to be halted effective October 24, 2025. In the absence of an active market, the last close price will reflect the Deal Terms of the transaction.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- FIRST NATIONAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION will be removed from the Index.
- The weight of FIRST NATIONAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION (FN.TO) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
