Acquisition | FIRST BANCSHARES INC/THE | 1st April 2025

Initially announced on July 29, 2024 RENASANT CORP made a stock offer for FIRST BANCSHARES INC/THE of 1 shares per FIRST BANCSHARES INC/THE share held. FIRST BANCSHARES INC/THE shareholders approved the Acquisition on October 22, 2024. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on April 1, 2025. Trading in shares of FIRST BANCSHARES INC/THE is expected to be halted effective April 1, 2025.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• FIRST BANCSHARES INC/THE will be removed from the Index.
• The shares of RENASANT CORP (RNST.N) will be increased according to the stock terms of the transaction.
