Acquisition | CPMC HOLDINGS LTD. | 27th January 2025

On July 30, 2024 HUARUI FENGQUAN DEVELOPMENT LIMITED launched a tender offer to acquire entire share capital of CPMC HOLDINGS LTD. Each shareholder of CPMC HOLDINGS LTD will receive HKD 7.21 in cash for every share held. Based on the announcement published on January 22, 2025 the acquirer and parties acting in concert with it now holds 98.59 percent of share capital of CPMC HOLDINGS LTD and will initiate the process of compulsory acquisition of CPMC HOLDINGS LTD. Since the free float has dropped below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove CPMC HOLDINGS LTD giving 2 business days notice.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• CPMC HOLDINGS LTD. will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of CPMC HOLDINGS LTD. (0906.HK) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 27/01/2025
