Acquisition | CARE REIT PLC | 9th May 2025

On March 11, 2025 CARETRUST REIT INC announced that it has reached an agreement for the cash offer acquisition of CARE REIT PLC for 108 pence in cash per ordinary share. CARE REIT PLC shareholders approved the scheme on April 29, 2025. A Court Hearing is scheduled to take place on May 7, 2025 to sanction the scheme. Subject to the Scheme receiving the sanction of the Court, the filing of the Court Order with the Registrar of Companies and the satisfaction or, where applicable, the waiver of the other Conditions, the Scheme is expected to become Effective on May 9, 2025. The last day of dealings in CARE REIT PLC Shares, will be 8 May 2025 with all dealings in CARE REIT PLC Shares being suspended by May 9, 2025.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• CARE REIT PLC will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of CARE REIT PLC (CRT.L) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 09/05/2025
