Acquisition | ALPHAWAVE IP GROUP PLC | 18th December 2025

On 9 June 2025, in accordance with the UK City Code on Takeovers and Mergers the boards of QUALCOMM INC and ALPHAWAVE IP GROUP PLC announced that they had reached agreement on the terms and conditions of a recommended acquisition by QUALCOMM INC of the entire share capital of ALPHAWAVE IP GROUP PLC. Each shareholder of ALPHAWAVE IP GROUP PLC will receive a default non elect option of USD 2.48 in cash for every share held. Subject to court sanction hearing expected on December 16, 2025 the last trading date is expected to be December 17, 2025.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• ALPHAWAVE IP GROUP PLC will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of ALPHAWAVE IP GROUP PLC (AWE.L) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 18/12/2025
