Acquisition | AZEK COMPANY INC | 1st July 2025

Initially announced on March 24, 2025, JAMES HARDIE INDUSTRIES PLC made a cash and stock offer for AZEK COMPANY INC of USD 26.45 and 1.034 JAMES HARDIE INDUSTRIES PLC ordinary shares per AZEK COMPANY INC share held. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on July 1, 2025. Trading in shares of AZEK COMPANY INC is expected to be halted effective July 1, 2025. Following the completion of the transaction, the JAMES HARDIE INDUSTRIES PLC ADSs will be delisted from the NYSE, and the ordinary shares of JAMES HARDIE INDUSTRIES will begin trading on the NYSE, effective July 1, 2025. Terminated JAMES HARDIE INDUSTRIES PLC ADSs will be exchanged for JAMES HARDIE INDUSTRIES ordinary shares at a ratio of one to one.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• AZEK COMPANY INC will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of AZEK COMPANY INC (AZEK.N) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 01/07/2025
