Can you imagine becoming a vital part of Solactive’s compliance team and help us adapting our indexing business to the requirements of the EU Benchmark Regulation (“BMR”)? Are you communicative and experienced in creating viable solutions when facing regulatory challenges? Would you enjoy being the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding all regulatory matters? Then you will very likely fit into our team!

• Support the business units to ensure that the law, our values and our policies are respected 
• Support preparation of internal governance forums and committees 
• Taking over controlling functions to ensure ongoing compliance with the EU Benchmark Regulation and other relevant requirements 
• Independent monitoring, review and analysis of legal and regulatory developments (including responding to public consultations, updates of policies, standards and procedures) 
• Maintaining direct contact with clients, service providers, contributors and supervisory authorities 
• Manage, update and carry out trainings in German and English language

• Academic degree in Business Law (Master or German State Examination)
• 7-10 years of professional experience, either in private practice and/or at a leading financial institution, ideally with a focus on general corporate and financial services compliance as well as BMR 
• Good knowledge of capital markets and relevant regulations (BMR, MAR, LkSG, HinSchG etc.) 
• Experience with MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint 
• Ability to analyze and process quantitative and qualitative data 
• Sensitivity for compliance risks and confidential matters 
• Highly structured and motivated
• Innovative mindset and hands-on approach 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English 
• Intercultural competence
