On September 21, 2023 NIDEC CORP ORD announced a tender offer to acquire the entire share capital of TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL CO LTD. Each shareholder of TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL CO LTD will receive JPY 2600 in cash for every share held. The tender offer commenced on September 14, 2023 and ended on November 13, 2023. Based on the results announced on November 14, 2023, the offeror holds 86.14 percent of share capital of TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL CO LTD. Since the free float has dropped below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL CO LTD with 2 days notice.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL CO LTD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL CO LTD (6121.T) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
