Job Overview
We’re looking for an analytically minded professional with experience in capital markets, indices, ETFs, or derivatives and a passion for investing and data-driven analysis. Join our fast-paced international team to develop innovative investment solutions, collaborate with clients, and help shape the future of index investing, with opportunities at the Senior Associate or VP level based on experience.
Your Tasks
  • Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of benchmark and thematic equity indices, balancing execution with an understanding of the underlying investment strategy to ensure accuracy, stability, and timely delivery across all rebalancing cycles.
  • Execute systematic, rules-based selection and rebalancing of both Solactive and client indices.
  • Conduct research on thematic investment trends and apply quantitative, rules-based approaches for index selection, weighting, and systematic rebalancing.
  • Act as a key contact and trusted partner for an international client base in both North America and Europe, including leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading desks, translating complex thematic & benchmark concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Enhance and maintain index algorithms and deterministic models within the company’s framework.
  • Identify and implement robust and scalable improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in index management.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts and developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Your Profile
  • Academic degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • Experience in managing and fostering client relationships.
  • At least 5 years of experience in equity markets execution, portfolio management, index management, or in a similar process-driven financial environment, with exposure to quantitative models, portfolio concepts, or systematic investment strategies. 
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to clearly explain investment concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with thematic & benchmark investing concepts, benchmarks, investment strategies, portfolio optimization or a related field.
  • Innovative, analytical thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and high attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple operational cycles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and intercultural competence. 
  • Proficiency in Python is required while experience in VBA, MATLAB, or SQL is an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required while proficiency in other languages such as: French, German, or Spanish, is an asset.

    The team round is focused on the candidate’s subject-matter know-how and abilities. The interviewer will ask questions specific to the job and the candidate’s prior experience. The candidate will be expected to provide specific examples to demonstrate his/her subject- matter knowledge.

    Task round

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

  4. 4.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
    Moreover, it is an opportunity for the candidate to learn more about the company's culture and vision.
