Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Institutional Sales professional who is eager to start a career in institutional sales within FinTech and capital markets. In this role, you will work closely with our senior sales team, helping to identify new opportunities, engage potential clients, and support the full sales cycle. You will gain hands-on exposure to global financial institutions, asset owners, pension funds, and asset managers, as well as complex financial products and high-level client interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of high-performance sales and grow into a senior sales role over time.
Your Tasks
  • Support the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal execution.
  • Research and identify potential institutional clients across banks, asset managers, asset owners, pension funds, and insurance companies.
  • Reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify leads and identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and update client information in Salesforce.
  • Assist with proposal preparation, offers, and contract coordination.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to sales strategies and growth initiatives.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant internships or initial experience in financial markets, such as asset management, investment banking, capital markets, consulting, or FinTech.
  • Exposure to institutional clients (e.g., asset managers, asset owners, pension funds, banks, or insurance companies) is a strong plus.
  • Strong interest in institutional sales, financial products, and capital markets.
  • Confident and professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets and develop a career in sales.
  • Proactive, persistent, and resilient in pursuing opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good command of English with the ability to communicate confidently in a professional environment; German is a plus.

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
