Job Overview
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a market data professional to join our Market Data Management team and support how we work with exchanges and data vendors. In this role, you will contribute to the licensing, compliance, and effective use of external data across the company.
Are you interested in learning more about the market data industry and its dynamics? Would you like to gain deeper insight into vendor agreements, licensing terms, and exchange policies? This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in market data and vendor management within a fast-growing index provider.
You will work closely with business, legal, and IT teams to help ensure Solactive operates on a stable and compliant data foundation. 
If you are structured, proactive, and motivated to build expertise in financial markets, you will fit well into our team.
Your Tasks
  • Support the review and administration of market data vendor agreements, including licensing terms and usage rights.
  • Monitor policy updates from exchanges and data vendors and assist in implementing necessary changes internally 
  • Work closely with Legal, IT, and business teams to clarify data usage questions
  • Support vendor onboarding processes and coordinate required documentation
  • Assist with reporting, invoice checks, and audit preparations
  • Maintain internal documentation, contract repositories and usage tracking records
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and knowledge sharing related to market data
Your Profile
  • Initial experience in market data services, exchange/vendor management, financial services or a related field
  • Interest in market data licensing, exchange policies and compliance topics
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and data usage concepts (e.g. licensing, redistribution, usage rights)
  • Structured and detail-oriented working style with a high sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Comfortable working with documentation, reports, and technical systems
  • Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
