Job Overview
Are you passionate about capital markets, index investing, and client-facing investment solutions? Do you thrive at the intersection of investment strategy, portfolio construction, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, international environment? We are seeking a highly experienced and client-focused capital markets professional to take ownership of a portfolio of quantitative equity indices while serving as a trusted partner to a global client base. The successful candidate will combine a strong understanding of financial markets and quantitative investment strategies with excellent communication and relationship-management skills, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients and stakeholders across global markets.
Your Tasks
  • Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of quantitative equity indices, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of all rebalancing activities while maintaining a strong understanding of the underlying investment strategies and client objectives.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for an international client base, including leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading desks, acting as a trusted advisor on index methodologies, rebalancing outcomes, and quantitative investment strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate the resolution of client inquiries, escalations, and complex index-related issues, delivering clear, actionable guidance and ensuring a high standard of client service.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and service quality across index management and client support processes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data, Engineering, and Product, to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery and the successful implementation of client requirements.
Your Profile
  • Academic degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of experience in equity markets execution, portfolio management, index management, or in a similar process-driven financial environment.
  • Strong understanding of equity markets, ETFs, index construction, or systematic investment strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong sense of ownership, able to operate independently and manage operational responsibility across multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle time-sensitive operational workflows.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and intercultural competence.
  • Proficiency in Python is an asset.
  • Fluency in English.

    The screening / introduction round is focus on assessment of a candidate's basic qualifications and determine whether (s)he is a good fit for the role and the company.

    Meeting the team

    Hiring manager + team

    The team round is focused on the candidate’s subject-matter know-how and abilities. The interviewer will ask questions specific to the job and the candidate’s prior experience. The candidate will be expected to provide specific examples to demonstrate his/her subject- matter knowledge.

    Task round

    From the hiring manager + team

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

  4. 4.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
    Moreover, it is an opportunity for the candidate to learn more about the company's culture and vision.
