Job Overview

Your Tasks
  • Planning, developing and implementing new quantitative index concepts based on derivatives, FX as well as Equities and Fixed Income securities for and with our clients
  • Communicating and interacting with our international client base
  • Back-testing of new systematic investment strategies
  • Collaborating with our Data Solutions team on the optimization/further development of our database
  • Developing new internal valuation models
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Economics, Computer Science, Financial Mathematics or equivalent
  • First relevant working experience
  • Very good programming skills in Python
  • Project management know-how
  • Affinity for capital markets and various financial instruments
  • Working experience in the industry (in particular related to index calculation, structured products or asset management) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Reuters, Factset and/or Bloomberg is an advantage
  • Self-driven, organized and innovative approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (verbal and written)

    Screening Call

    Recruiter

    The screening / introduction round is focus on assessment of a candidate's basic qualifications and determine whether (s)he is a good fit for the role and the company.

    Meeting the team

    Hiring manager + team

    The team round is focused on the candidate’s subject-matter know-how and abilities. The interviewer will ask questions specific to the job and the candidate’s prior experience. The candidate will be expected to provide specific examples to demonstrate his/her subject- matter knowledge.

  3. 3.

    Task round

    From the hiring manager + team

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

  4. 4.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
    Moreover, it is an opportunity for the candidate to learn more about the company's culture and vision.
