Your Tasks
  • Maintaining our proprietary, high-performance index platform
  • Being the first contact person for our business users in Hong Kong, Frankfurt, and Toronto in questions related to data and data quality, as well as the underlying applications 
  • Close cooperation with our clients, business teams and our IT teams 
  • Analyzing and solving customers (internal client) problems or proposing solutions to the responsible department 
  • Gathering and analyzing data to evaluate business transactions and processes 
  • Supporting and conducting tests of platform changes 
  • Monitoring of running services and analyzing logs for our different servers 
  • Continuously identifying and implementing optimization opportunities within our processes
Your Profile
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical/application support, with a solid understanding of customer service practices and procedures
  • Experience with API requests/responses and relational databases, especially SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Linux
  • Experience with monitoring tools and job scheduling
  • Good understanding of ITIL concepts, including Incident Management, Change Management, and Release Management
  • Ability to provide daily support for the production environment, take ownership of issues, and resolve problems promptly to minimize disruption to clients
  • Interest in financial market data
  • Ability to work independently and remain effective under pressure
  • Highly structured, motivated team player with intercultural competence and excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to fully document solutions and procedures
  • Proactive, adaptable, and self-managing, with a proven ability to lead project initiatives
  • Background in data analysis or finance is a plus
  • Ability to work on an early shift from the office, with a start time of 6 a.m.

    The team round is focused on the candidate’s subject-matter know-how and abilities. The interviewer will ask questions specific to the job and the candidate’s prior experience. The candidate will be expected to provide specific examples to demonstrate his/her subject- matter knowledge.

    Task round

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
