Job Overview
Are you interested in capital markets? Are you knowledgeable about stocks, futures, options, but also indices, their creation and maintenance and at the same time passionate about passive investment strategies and ETFs? Do you like coding and would you like to apply and develop your skills in a Fintech environment? Are you highly ambitious to push things forward? Then you will very likely fit in our team!
Your Tasks
  • Reviewing free float for various securities which involves:
    • Collecting information on the shareholding structure for the Solactive universe of companies, from the stock exchange, company websites and annual reports.
    • Analyzing the shareholder types and calculating the free float factor based on the Solactive Internal guideline.
    • Review the foreign ownership restrictions applicable to individual companies, sectors, or countries.
    • Review the number of shares outstanding for such Solactive universe of companies.
  • Tracking corporate events and reviewing their impact on the free float of a security.
  • Maintaining existing data feeds and working with internal and external parties to enhance them. 
  • Quality assessment of the data as per product and index review schedules.
Your Profile
  • Enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics or similar.
  • A strong interest in capital markets.
  • Competent in handling of MS-Office applications (in particular Word, Power Point, Excel).
  • Attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with good logical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Python skills are a plus

    Recruiter

    The screening / introduction round is focus on assessment of a candidate's basic qualifications and determine whether (s)he is a good fit for the role and the company.

    Meeting the team

    Hiring manager + team

    The team round is focused on the candidate’s subject-matter know-how and abilities. The interviewer will ask questions specific to the job and the candidate’s prior experience. The candidate will be expected to provide specific examples to demonstrate his/her subject- matter knowledge.

    Task round

    From the hiring manager + team

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

  4. 4.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
    Moreover, it is an opportunity for the candidate to learn more about the company's culture and vision.
