Methodology Change | Cannabis Index (.POTX) | Effective Date 07/02/2022

Today, 24/01/2022, Solactive announces the following changes to the methodology of the following Index (the ‘Affected Index’):

Rationale for methodology change

Solactive AG decided to change the Adjustment Day for the Cannabis Index (.POTX) to the third Wednesday of the months February, May, August and November instead of the second Friday of the months of February, May, August and November, due to the observation of  significant increase of volatility within the regular adjustment periods in the mid of the months subject to adjustments of the Cannabis Index. Performing adjustments in a more calmer market environment should therefore enhance index replicability.

Section 4. Definitions:

Old Wording:

The “Adjustment Day” is the second Friday in February, May, August and November. If that day is not a Calculation Day the Adjustment Day will be the immediately following Calculation Day.

New Wording:

The “Adjustment Day” is the third Wednesday in February, May, August and November. If that day is not a Calculation Day the Adjustment Day will be the immediately following Calculation Day.

Defined terms used in this announcement, but not defined herein, have the meaning assigned to them in the respective index guideline of the Affected Indices. The amended version of the index guideline will be available on the effective date.
