Since 2007, we develop tailor-made and multi-asset class index solutions for ETFs and other index-linked investment products for the leading global investment banks and asset managers as our clients. Our software development and core technology team, responsible for the infrastructure, development, operation and maintenance of our index calculation and publication engine, is based in Berlin (Europe’s most exciting capital) and is now hiring!

Your Tasks

  • Managing and expanding the technical support team, currently consisting of 5 employees
  • Being responsible for all support activities for our proprietary index platform
  • Acting as the interface between the users of the platform and our internal project management and development teams
  • Incident and problem management in day-to-day business
  • Ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Analyzing and documentation of error situations as well as business transactions and processes •
  • Continuously improving existing processes
  • Being responsible for the monthly management / service reporting
  • Coaching and mentoring of team members

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in support or operations of complex, high-availability IT systems
  • First experience in building and leading a team
  • Interest in the financial industry
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Experience in ticket systems, e.g. Jira
  • Basic database knowledge (SQL) as well as first experience with Linux is beneficial
  • Profound level of customer-orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage high stress situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours upon agreement
