Software Test Analyst (m/f/d) | Berlin

Our software development and core technology team, responsible for the infrastructure, development, operation and maintenance of our index calculation and publication engine, is based in Berlin (Europe’s most exciting capital) and is now hiring!

Job Overview

Do you have the ability to quickly understand complex business requirements as well as practical experience in planning and conducting the essential software tests based on these requirements? Are you a highly structured, solution-oriented and communicative individual? Your Tasks

  • Developing, reviewing and executing logical and concrete test specifications
  • Creating test cases considering the reusability in different test cycles
  • Scalable test case determination using combined methods (e.g. ad hoc, intuitive, equivalence class analysis)
  • Evaluating specifications with regard to testability and selecting suitable test methods (and tools)
  • Developing existing test frameworks further and optimizing the automated test portfolio
  • Generating reports for the test history and to ensure quality standards
  • Assessing the software for potential vulnerabilities and risks
  • Conducting software tests as well as evaluating the test results
  • Communicating with internal project stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Experience in planning and conducting software tests, ideally in the financial industry
  • Extensive know-how of the test life cycle (functional, system, integration, performance and load tests)
  • ISTQB certification and experience with agile process models is desirable
  • Very good knowledge of Excel, experience with ticket systems (Atlassian)
  • Analytical thinking, profound conceptual skills
  • Team player, willingness to learn, commitment and structured way of working
  • Excellent German and English communication skills (oral and written)
