Change of Index Calculator role for GPR Indices | Effective Date March 3, 2025

Solactive hereby announces that it will take on the role of Calculation Agent with effect from 03-03-2025  for the below-mentioned indices (“Relevant Indices”). The Relevant Indices will be calculated and published by Solactive AG. Solactive is also the Administrator for the Relevant Indices, having taken on the Administrator role under the Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 (“Benchmark Regulation”) as of 1 January 2024. The calculation logic will switch to a divisor logic following Solactive’s default methodology. The existing index guidelines of the Relevant Indices will be updated on the effective date to include changes related to the assumption of the role of Calculation Agent by Solactive.

Effective after the open on 03-03-2025 adjustments to the Indices to account for corporate actions will be made in compliance with the Equity Index Methodology, which is available on the Solactive website: https://www.solactive.com/documents/equity-index-methodology/. This document contains for each corporate action a brief definition and specifies the relevant adjustment to the index variables.

The major differences in implementing of Corporate Actions can be highlighted below

1. Dividends

With regard to the Solactive product portfolio, Cash Dividends are treated differently depending on the type of index. The implementation of the dividend payment leads to a change in the Market Capitalization of the Index since the theoretical stock price at the Open of the Effective Date  after dividend is used for the calculation of the post-dividend Market Capitalization of the Index.

2. Spin-off

In the case of a Spin-off affecting an Index Component, the spin-off company will be added to the Index according to the transaction terms on the effective date. The parent company will remain in the Index with unchanged calculation parameters. The spin-off company will remain in the Index until further notice or the next ordinary rebalancing.

3. Rights Issue

Irrespective of whether the rights are renounceable and/or fully underwritten, Solactive implements a Rights Issue only if the subscription price is lower than the stock’s close price on the day before the ex-date. All shares (potentially) resulting from a Rights Issue will be included in the index calculation on the ex-date.

4. Notice Period for Corporate Action Adjustments

In the case of ad-hoc situations on account of delisting due to Merger or Acquisition , the Index adjustment will also be applied with a notice period of at least two Business Days, i.e., the Index adjustment will become effective on the opening on the third Business Day following the announcement (= the effective date). The instrument’s closing value will reflect the value of the transaction’s Deal Terms

The official index calculation and files will be provided by GPR through the open of 03-03-2025. Solactive is already providing their version of files in parallel to ensure all parties are familiar with the logic and formatting therein. During the day the Solactive indices will be updated to bring them completely in line with GPR composition and index level. Solactive’s closing files produced on the 03-03-2025 will mark the completion of the transition at which point Solactive will be the official provider of the index calculation and files and GPR will terminate ongoing delivery of their files.
