FRANKFURT AM MAIN – Solactive is pleased to announce its continued collaboration with UmweltBank on the launch of three new ETFs. The new products include UmweltBank UCITS ETF – Europe SDG Focus, tracking the Solactive UmweltBank Europe All Cap SDG PAB Index, as well as UmweltBank UCITS ETF – Green & Social Corporate Bonds Euro and UmweltBank UCITS ETF – Green & Social Government Bonds Euro tracking the Solactive UmweltBank Green & Social Corporate Bond EUR IG 0-10 Year Index and the Solactive UmweltBank Green & Social Government Bond EUR IG 0-10 Year Index, respectively. Together, the launches provide targeted exposure to sustainable European equities and differentiated euro-denominated green and social bond allocations across the corporate and government segments.
As demand for transparent and sustainability-focused portfolio building blocks continues to expand, the combination of equity and fixed income strategies supports broader implementation of responsible investment principles. The new ETFs reflect this development by offering distinct exposures built around UmweltBank's sustainability framework, combining climate alignment, exclusionary screening, and a focus on issuers and companies that meet defined environmental and social standards.
The Solactive UmweltBank Europe All Cap SDG PAB Index is designed to provide exposure to companies from developed European markets that meet UmweltBank's sustainability criteria. The index combines exclusionary screening with a positive selection approach focused on companies that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals while also incorporating the requirements of an EU Paris-Aligned Benchmark. It uses an optimization-based weighting approach to maintain broad market representation while reducing carbon intensity. The index is reviewed semi-annually.
The Solactive UmweltBank Green & Social Corporate Bond EUR IG 0-10 Year Index is designed to reflect the performance of euro-denominated investment-grade green, social, and sustainable corporate bonds that meet UmweltBank's sustainability criteria. Eligible bonds must meet minimum size, maturity, and credit quality requirements and are subject to additional exclusionary screening. The index uses an optimization-based weighting methodology with issuer and country caps to support diversification. It is reviewed monthly, with rebalancing taking place on the last business day of each month.
The Solactive UmweltBank Green & Social Government Bond EUR IG 0-10 Year Index is designed to reflect the performance of euro-denominated investment-grade green, social, and sustainable government and government related bonds that meet UmweltBank's sustainability criteria. Eligible bonds must meet minimum size, maturity, and credit quality requirements, while issuers are screened against additional country-level sustainability criteria. The index uses an optimization-based weighting methodology with bond and country caps to support diversification. It is reviewed monthly, with rebalancing taking place on the last business day of each month.
