FRANKFURT AM MAIN – Solactive is pleased to announce its collaboration with Timefolio Asset Management on the launch of TIME Global Humanoid Robotics Active ETF benchmarking the Solactive Global Humanoid Robotics Index. The product is designed to provide investors with targeted exposure to companies enabling the development and deployment of humanoid robotics and adjacent automation technologies across global markets.
Humanoid robotics is attracting increasing investor attention as advances in artificial intelligence, machine vision, sensing, and motion control continue to expand the commercial potential of physical automation. At the same time, structural labor shortages, aging populations, and the need for productivity gains across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and service industries are contributing to increased adoption of robotics technologies. As deployment moves beyond research environments toward broader real-world use cases, the theme is emerging as a distinct segment within next-generation automation.
The Solactive Global Humanoid Robotics Index is designed to capture 30 companies active across the humanoid robotics value chain, including developers of humanoid and service robots as well as enabling technologies such as artificial intelligence, mobility systems, and mechatronics. The eligible universe comprises companies from developed markets, South Korea, and China that derive at least 50% of their revenues from humanoid robotics or related activities. Companies are identified using ARTIS®, Solactive’s proprietary natural language processing technology. Constituents are weighted according to their thematic relevance ranking, subject to a 4.5% cap, and the index is rebalanced quarterly.
The ETF was listed on 19 May 2026 on the Korea Exchange with the ticker code 0185L0.KS.
Timo Pfeiffer, Chief Markets Officer at Solactive, commented: “We are pleased to collaborate with Timefolio Asset Management on this launch focused on the growing humanoid robotics segment. As advances in artificial intelligence and automation continue to accelerate, humanoid robotics is becoming an increasingly relevant theme across industries. The launch reflects Solactive’s ongoing commitment to supporting clients with index solutions aligned with emerging technology developments and evolving investor interests.”
Timefolio Asset Management: “We believe humanoid robotics will become one of the most important long-term technology trends driven by AI advancement and structural labor shortages. Through this ETF, investors can gain diversified exposure to global leaders across the humanoid robotics value chain in a more active and forward-looking way.”
