Announcement
Following the market consultation published by Solactive AG on April 23, 2026, Solactive announces the following changes to the methodology of the indices specified below:
| Index Name | Index ISIN | Index RIC |
|---|---|---|
| Solactive ISS ESG Core Screened Global Markets Index NTR | DE000SL0QS61 | .SOCOSGMN |
| Solactive ISS ESG Core Screened Global Markets Index PR | DE000SL0QS53 | .SOCOSGMP |
| Solactive ISS ESG Core Screened Global Markets Index TR | DE000SL0QS79 | .SOCOSGMT |
Rationale for the Methodology Change
ISS ESG’s Norm-Based Research (NBR) evaluates the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact of corporate issuers by identifying and assessing corporate controversies. The framework is built on established international standards.
Solactive ISS ESG Core Screened Global Markets indices exclude companies violating established Norms-Based Research in the Environment, Human Rights, Labour Rights and Corruption categories.
The current index methodology applies the exclusion criteria differently across the categories, excluding companies with verified very severe failure for Corruption and verified severe failure for the other three categories. The change will harmonize the exclusion criterion for all the Norms-Based Research categories to verified very severe failure, and this change will align the exclusion criterion to a standardization of criteria for ESG frameworks.
