Initially announced on January 7, 2026, TAIYO KOSAN CO INC made a cash offer for HISAMITSU PHARMACEUTICAL CO INC ORD of JPY 6082 per share held. The expiration date of the tender offer has been set to February 19, 2026. As of February 20, 2026 the tender offer acceptance has reached 67.55%. The company has announced the expected EGM date in mid-April 2026. On April 20, 2026 it was announced that HISAMITSU PHARMACEUTICAL CO INC ORD will be delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange with the last trading date as May 8, 2026.
