Acquisition | NATIONAL STORAGE REIT | 22nd April 2026

On December 08, 2025, a consortium of the Brookfield Funds (being funds owned or managed by Brookfield Asset Management Ltd or its affiliates and their managed funds) and affiliates of the GIC Investor announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement in which they will acquire all outstanding NATIONAL STORAGE REIT (NSR AT) shares. Each shareholder of NATIONAL STORAGE REIT (NSR AT) will receive AUD2.80 in cash. Second Court Hearing is April 15, 2026. As a result of this transaction, NATIONAL STORAGE REIT (NSR AT) will become a private company. The last trading date is expected to be April 21, 2026.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

  • NATIONAL STORAGE REIT will be removed from the Index.
  • The weight of NATIONAL STORAGE REIT (NSR.AX) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
  • Effective Date (open): 22/04/2026
