Acquisition | CANON ELECTRONICS INC ORD | 26th January 2026

Initially announced on November 28, 2025, CANON INC made a cash offer for CANON ELECTRONICS INC ORD of JPY 3650 per CANON ELECTRONICS INC ORD share held. The tender offer acceptances reached 87.94% on 19 January 2026. Since the free float has dropped below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove CANON ELECTRONICS INC ORD giving 2 business days’ notice. The removal date will be 26 January 2026.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• CANON ELECTRONICS INC ORD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of CANON ELECTRONICS INC ORD (7739.T) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 26/01/2026
