Spin Off | SONY GROUP CORP | 29th September 2025

As disclosed in the announcement made on 3 September 2025, SONY GROUP CORP resolved at a meeting of their board of directors to execute a spin-off of SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC. ADR holders of SONY GROUP CORP will receive 0.2 ADSs of SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC for every ADS held in SONY GROUP CORP. The ex-date of the spin-off is 29 September 2025. SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC ADRs are not expected to be listed on the NYSE but are expected to trade on OTC.

***For OTC ineligible indices only*** As SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC will start trading on an ineligible exchange, SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC will be added temporarily in the index and will be removed after it begins trading. Solactive will announce the removal of SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC once the trading details are known.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• The spin-off company SONY FINANCIAL GROUP INC will be added to the Index according to the transaction terms.
