Acquisition | CENTAMIN PLC | 22nd November 2024

Initially announced on September 10, 2024, ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI PLC made a cash and stock offer for CENTAMIN PLC. Under the terms of the Acquisition, CENTAMIN PLC shareholders will receive USD 0.125 and 0.06983 ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI PLC shares per each share held. CENTAMIN PLC shareholders approved the Acquisition at a special meeting held on October 28, 2024. The Court Meeting date to sanction the scheme will be held on November 20, 2024. The Acquisition is expected to become effective on November 22, 2024, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of all closing conditions. Trading in shares of CENTAMIN PLC on the London Stock Exchange is expected to be halted prior to market open on November 22, 2024.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• CENTAMIN PLC will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of CENTAMIN PLC (CEY.L) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 22/11/2024
