Acquisition | SCICLONE PHARMACEUTICALS (HOLDINGS) LTD | 21st June 2024

On 19 March 2024, SILVER PEGASUS INVESTMENT LIMITED requested the board of SCICLONE PHARMACEUTICALS (HOLDINGS) LTD to put forward a proposal of privatization to the shareholders of SCICLONE PHARMACEUTICALS (HOLDINGS) LTD by way of a scheme of arrangement. As per the scheme, SILVER PEGASUS INVESTMENT LIMITED will pay HKD 18.8 for each share in SCICLONE PHARMACEUTICALS (HOLDINGS) LTD. Subject to approval during the shareholder meeting on 19 June 2023, the effective date of the scheme will be 21 June 2024.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• SCICLONE PHARMACEUTICALS (HOLDINGS) LTD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of SCICLONE PHARMACEUTICALS (HOLDINGS) LTD (6600.HK) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 21/06/2024
