Acquisition | TROY INCOME & GROWTH TRUST PLC | 3rd April 2024
On November 28, 2023 TROY INCOME & GROWTH TRUST PLC and STS Global Income & Growth Trust PLC boards have agreed terms for a proposed combination. TROY INCOME & GROWTH TRUST PLC shareholders approved the scheme at a meeting on March 13, 2024. For Shareholders that are deemed to have made no election they will receive 0.322806 New STS Shares for each Reclassified Share with A rights attached to it. TROY INCOME & GROWTH TRUST PLC Reclassified Shares were suspended from listing on the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and from trading on the London Stock Exchange on 27 March 2024, in anticipation of the Second General Meeting.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- TROY INCOME & GROWTH TRUST PLC will be removed from the Index.
- The shares of SECURITIES TRUST OF SCOTLAND P (SESTS.L) will be increased according to the stock terms of the transaction.
- Effective Date (open): 03/04/2024
